Awards & Honours

From the early years of its inception Manava Seva Kendra under the guidance of Poojya Sri Guruji Viswanath recognised and honoured people who excelled in their fields of contribution to and participation in society. Some were also awarded titles to show case what qualities or values the individuals stood for and represented. These awards and honours were a way of showing love and gratitude to these noble souls, for their yeoman service.

	Sangeetha Saraswathi
	The Sangeetha Saraswathi award was constituted by Poojya Sri Guruji Viswanath in year 2003 and on 25th June 2003, on the occassion of His 51st Birdthay Celebrations the first award was conferred on Palakkad Sri. V. Dakshinamurthy, the legendary music director of South Indian cinema and a carnatic musician par excellence.
